Unlimited vacation

Time to use all the vacation you didn’t use because you were so busy this year. After all, it’s unlimited.

2fv7 - Not every manager is like yours, everyones vacation policy is up for manager interpretation. Your boss and you are expendable. Your boss may appreciate a little planning a head, but if when the beancounters catch up to your group and want their savings, you will get no time to plan, no warning. Glass is half full until it is empty.

Yup and your manager will have a low EEI for the group and will be Riffed.

Yup, and my manager appreciates employees to think/plan ahead so when I request time off well ahead of time it has never been a problem. Same goes for most of my co-workers. One person had emergency and had to take 3 consecutive vacation days at the last minute and that was no problem.

So, "good luck with that" commenter, it really helps to be a glass half full guy instead of a glass half empty person.

It all relies on manager approval but, hey, good luck with that.

been taking a few days off each quarter when work load allowed it and will take another 7 days during December so I hit the 6 weeks I "earned" under the old system. Ho Ho Ho
