So three very lucky winners got a bonus this year, congratulations to them. But its rather astounding that the ‘committee’ took the time to read through 543 nominations and then could distinguish just 3 that deserved the awards. The time that took in hours is no doubt worth far more than the bonus these people got as a reward and if that’s the amount of nominations that will happen per quarter. Its rather like a lottery! Perhaps we can introduce a meat raffle, or a game of bingo as well. When Is DXC going to reward the people who are doing the work, who are fire-fighting the resource cuts to clients and who are doing the work of numerous people. One day, maybe one day we’ll hear something positive that applies to everyone who performs well and I don’t mean having sweets thrown at me. Right now , he’ll get it back with interest!

This initiative seems to be UK only so not surprised the there's been no announcement in the Americas.
So how do you know this? In America's have not seen anything distributed.
Because the prize is so poor, it motivates me to maximise my slacking off and planning the max sick days off a year (go on hols or mend a fence)
Back in the early days of CSC, they had a PRIDE scheme where any manger could nominate an award for their staff, going beyond the call of duty, to award either book tokens £25 to taking your partner out for a meal - up to value of £100 and had only 1 scheme administrator review and 1 Snr manager approval for the country. There were no restrictions on how many for the country and it never got out of hand - like same managers giving them out like sweets. It was cost effective and was a way of thanking folks. The scheme was "cut" by top managers to save country money; later replaced by a regional reward & recognition scheme with high tolerances to be triggered, also 'cut' to save money.
If you are going to be this silly about the distribution of such low amounts, for such a small sample of a greater populous, then its just not cost effective to run and is there only for PR reasons.
To achieve £500 you would have to part the red sea these days.
@eof now that is crazy - you couldn’t make it up. Amazing what some will do for a crumb of carrot cake! I bet knives were out everywhere for the few quid on offer too.
This is not this year's bonus; that won't be paid (should the planets align) until after April next year. The Get It Done thing is quarterly.
I was astounded that there were 543 nominations, and that they used EIGHTEEN people to review them, all to distribute the grand total of £850 (1st = £500, 2nd = £250, 3rd = £100). Crazy.
And it looks like all the women are useless too
"meat raffle" I believe is the term used by UK&I senior management privately to describe the selection process for layoffs...
Also, it would seem the ex-CSC people are useless, as the top 3 are all ex-HPE-ES guys.
