Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

HCM RNs, who gets your roster after 11-22?

I wonder what the plan is for those leaving and those left behind for roster management. We are already are getting RIT/Transitional mbrs back to call. Recycled NMAN mbrs as well. Anyone know the master plan- obviously not looking good for those still there.

This makes me really sad that my coworkers and former coworkers are treating each other this way. I always thought more of us than that. It is a difficult time for everyone. Let's not eat each other alive.

Members are NOT going to NMAN after UTC 5. They are returning to the HCM roster to continue the UTC process without RIT. Don't give false information in an attempt to spread fear.

Members are no longer in holding after UTC #5. They are going to NMAN. Doesn’t matter how hard you work, they’re closing out members for a reason.

@QkkTBrF-1zcv, I wasn't posting that because I was complaining. I was sharing information that I knew. I was told by a person in leadership what the rosters were going to look like in January, and informed that the nurses who moved more to monitored would be extra busy. I am a top performer, and I personally have not moved many to monitored from my roster. You don't have any reason to be so ugly to people. I guess you're just a troll hiding behind your keyboard, waiting for a chance to try and put someone down. Get a life.

Who cares, I do. Why come here if you don't care? Work harder, they let go of top producers? Not everyone let go was a top performer, 'poor baby' poster. Have an extra helping of pumpkin pie on Thursday, maybe you will be in a better mood. Anywho...as we were discussing before the people turn it into a slam post, hard to meet metrics when those that got 75 or less to manage now only get about maybe 2-3 new per week. I guess if they ramp it back up to 185, I will be able to meet metrics like I always did- yes, I am a hard worker. In the meantime, I will apply for other roles outside of this toxic company. Maybe it was a company troller trying to stir the pot with comments below, hope other coworkers are more supportive than what was just showed when we are all just trying to make sense out of all of these changes and loss of jobs.

You poor baby now you might have to work a little harder seems like Humana let go the top producers. So now you really better start making your numbers. I️ hear Humana is planning more cuts after the first.

The official plan is all HCMRN will have a roster equivalence of 185 MANAGED members after January 1. All the nurses who moved large numbers of members to monitored will get hit hard with new members and absorbing members from teammates laid off.

Most HCMRNs now would welcome new members, coverage team is short of calls, most all RNs on our team are short on calls. Really the big picture Im sure is for all of us to spend more time calling our sickest people, and really being able to manage them, which could/should be plenty of calls, and move the ones that dont need us to monitored. Just glad Im still here, Im very blessed, keeping my team and wonderful coach. Hopefully good till at least March, but who knows, January may bring more S*&t our way. But at least it gets us through the holiday. So hey bring on more members, thats fine with me!! Im here let me do my job.

In the 3 previous RIFs for PHCs, those remaining PHCs took on extra members from the rosters of those who were laid off. I'm guessing it's the same plan this time around. I'll give a heads-up to nurses who remain---many of your reassigned members will not be happy about having a new care manager. PHCs know well because this is now the 4th round of members getting a new care manager this year.
