Looks like they have started the deep cuts... everyone acts surprised, but we have already heard 1/3 of the workforce will be gone by 2020. 2018 is going to be even worse. Does anyone have a total across the company in all regions that were announced yesterday?

7.03 Force Adjustment Whenever force conditions as determined by the Company are considered to warrant a surplus and the possible layoff of employees, the Company shall notify the Union in writing, prior to notifying the affected employees. Employees will be laid off in a process to be determined by the Company based on the needs of the business and all business needs being equal, such adjustments shall occur in inverse order of seniority. The surplus employees designated for layoff will be notified a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to the layoff date, unless otherwise provided by law.
T university lost approximately 80 trainers at level 1 on 12/7. Additional cuts among other areas of HR and T University also occurred. All of the trainers let go we’re from At&t and all of the Directv personnel were not effected.
What's surprising is that they are for the first time NOT laying off by sonority and picking a choosing, and the union allowed it into the contract. What has the Union truly done? Surplus those with 10 yr + but keep a person with little to no experience? It's all about $$ They don't care the union doesn't care everyday is like playing Russian roulette will I have a job tomorrow? Even though I have no attendance issues or discipline etc. the worry is I have 15+ years

That makes sense, lay people off, ruin them financially so Randy and his buddies can get even richer. Then destroy our democracy, our social safety nets and standard of living in the process.
