I see a lot of people wanting to quit right away on their own due to stress, secrecy and uncertainties. But if you are already at a point where leaving CVS is a reality for you, then why not stick it out? If you do get laid off, you'll have severance to help you get through until you find a job. And if you don't get laid off, well, you still have a job.
Quitting only helps CVS as it saves them from having to pay you severance. I think part of this situation is specifically engineered to get people to leave on their own.
Just my two cents.
