Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Early release?

Do you really think that they will release this group of layoffs early since there was such a large number impacted? Just hard to think they would pay over 1300 people each week till Jan 2nd for nothing! I’m ready to go. Working each day is torment. Thanks everyone!

Maybe early release by Thanksgiving was the last word from our team's COM. It will be later than previous layoffs.

CT Coach impacted. They are also running out of members to call. Not sure what they do when that happens. In the past they’ve had pilot projects.

2 weeks early for sure, by depending on workload maybe sooner.

Below poster: When I took a few days off, I came back to no MOC calls due. The first 50 members on my roster were all in the utc process. CT reached days ahead and I returned to a roster with no calls due. (Phc)

I don’t blame CT, I know they have numbers, but this needs better planning. We are going to run out of people to call, and have rosters full of people either in the utc process or who were just contacted and need a reasonable break from our calls.

Last poster, I seriously have been wondering about CT. With HAH RN scrambling for calls with Monitored since we rarely get a new member. When someone takes off for a day or two, we cover each other's roster. CT need must be WAY down. Are they morphing their role into something new? I heard they had some kind of pilot a few mo. back. Due to lack of transparency, we are not sure due to no communication. I would like to hear more about how they are being affected as I have heard nothing. Team meeting yesterday was in all avoidance of 'L' word or anything that had to do with it or what the he!! is going to happen. They are just using all of us for now. They need 'some' warm bodies to make more HEDIS calls, ect.

I'm hoping tomorrow is the day myself and others effected will get early released. I feel like we're already an afterthought and I'm ready to move on.

I highly doubt you will be released until after the holidays. Much love and blessings to all those affected. A dear friend of mine was RIFed back in July and was released immediately. Got her 60 day notice pay and severance. Rollercoaster ride for sure.

They pay you either way so the money wouldnt make a difference. It will depend on the workload.
