What if you got a email for the meeting and then it was canceled ? Are we in danger?
You can't be laid off if you're on fmla, they have to find a position for you, if they can't, then you can be laid off
They can lay you off even under FMLA if they have no intention of replacing you.
What are the laws concerning FMLA& layoffs?

My heart hurts, and I can't sleep. RN FCM since 2014. Excellant work l for Humana. I have poured my heart and soul into the mbrs,. I got an email for a town hall meeting, tomorrow 2pm eat.then they canceled immediately. I feel lied to and betrayed....just last July, higher management said, HAH, LTIH. not going anywhere. Gonna try to sleep away tears of fears pray and plan for new job. Best of luck to all. If this is to be Gods will , then so be it.... I always thought I was a better person and Humana never saw my real worth.
What department was the coach with? Does it seem the layoffs are directed at a certain area, like northeast, southern, Midwest?
Coach impacted today. This is just too much. My friend who works for HR says consultants are often brought in to help with Lay offs and that consultant advice companies avoid lays offs during Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. Hope this is the last for now.
3 people in my team (HCMSSs) got the email late today for a confidential meeting. We are all trying to support each other. We all knew deep down that our role would be hit!
One of my teammates (HCM-SS) was impacted :( sad day
So much changes from day to day. If a leader shares information—even “high up”—and it turns out wrong several weeks later it may be that something just changed and they are caught up in it too. I know everyone is just doing their best. I trust that is true.

I am a HCM-SS and received a confidential email meeting for tomorrow morning. I know 2 others, 1 on a different team that also received this email.
Coach 22 said LTIH this round plus others, coach 22 gave us date ranges and pinned down last round, a poster called “100” gave us a heads up 2 rounds ago, and this continued decimation of the phc’s was predicted as well, unfortunately they were all right.
I know that Associate FCMs (Field Care Managers) will be getting emails tomorrow to invite them to their "layoff" meeting.
Yes, emails went out just after 5:00 EST. Numerous SSs and PHCs affected
Can someone just tell me if the emails came out after 5pm Eastern time? I'm not home to check.
It seems the CMS are being impacted, guess they aren't superior to anyone else, we are all just part of a bigger picture.

That whole "HCMSS won't be cut, it'll be hcm" crap was just one angry person who thought that HCMSS was untouchable and superior to everyone else, especially the nurses. That wasnt insider knowledge. Just someone being a see you next Tuesday.

A very high up person said that hcmss wouldn't be impacted at all, don't attack a poster for what they were told. Hcmss, were any others on your team also getting the invite? Any poster yco, your post is just another angry lashing out. No one said hcmss are superior, all the poster said was what they were told, and it seems they were lied to, so back off, ok? It's hard enough to realize you can't trust someone you did. I read the thread, it didn't seem they were angry, it sounded that someone, perhaps you, were angry. And, yes, our hcmss are superior. So back off, have some decency, the poster reported what they were told, why are you not attacking all the other incorrect info posters? Geez Louise, have some decency!

Just goes to show a lot of the info provided that was supposed be inside knowledge was not correct. We were told no HCM-SS would be cut but HCM-RNs were on the block. PHC coaches were telling associates not them. What was correct was LTIH. So we got one right. Sorry for anyone receiving the invite. This is a crap storm for sure!
HAH SS here. Got the confidential invite for Thursday at 11. Guess it's about that time.
No Hcm RNs I know have got an invite & I know several on different teams/departments.
One SS posted on another thread that she got an invite for 11am
Oaz, what HCMRN? None have posted that. So far only LTIH leaders, LTIH FCM and PHC have posted. Do you have other information?
