Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Confidentiality Breach

I am appalled with what folks are discussing here – there is a lot of confidential Humana info here.

This info is certainly proprietary to Humana, henceforth it should not be discussed in a public forum like this.

Discussing RIFs in public (or in a group setting) is against your terms of employment!!!

Discussing severance, pay, or any other details is also prohibited and it should not be disclosed or commented on.

Yeah, and its against company policy to discuss wages. People don't realize that there are federal laws in place to protect workers and one of them is the right to discuss wages. It is demoralizing to find out that your new coworker who just started is getting 10K more a year than you and you are training them. These practices of gagging people are displaying bad business behavior and transparency is lacking.

It's not against the law to disclose salary info among coworkers, companies have the policy to keep salaries as they are without people complaining...and the RIF was made public, nothing has been disclosed that's proprietary to humana

From all the replies, OP, time for you to leave this website; no one cares what you think about confidentiality.

Henceforth whilst thee go away? It's blatantly obvious you have No clue. RIFs are public knowledge and it is not unlawful or a violation of policy to discuss a coaching, salary etc.

Post ID: @Q1lFGdN scalding and rebuking Humana employees in a way which sounds like 'official Humana Policy' will also be done in private. You flame haired troll. How do you keep from choking on that stream of BS?

I'm appalled at your use of the word "henceforth." You don't get to treat people like garbage and then demand that they remain silent. That's not how the world works.

People can share their salary and benefits. It's good because it helps root out corruption and abuse. People can share their experiences.

OP, what are you doing here anyway?

We no longer have to perform the 'hind lick maneuver' now that we've been fired. Did you think we'd play nice after the way we were treated?

Maybe you're next for the layoff (firing).

It actually isn't prohibited by law to discuss salaries. Most management doesn't like it because then we are aware of who is getting paid more or less than we are for doing the same job.
