Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Anybody else hoping November 1 is the date?

I am just so tired of all the anticipation and stress, that I am just hoping it's over with as soon as possible, whether I get laid off or not.

Forget 11/1/17, I'm ready now. I never thought I would be at this place but I'm just ready to know one way or another.

I have heard Nov 1 is the date. I have heard lots of speculation. Now my manager tells me we are not in that 'group' to be concerned. What is bothering me is this: All the talk about how Humana cares about its people, its customers, etc. Its all hogwash in the end, isn't it? Filling CEOs pockets and board members is what is important. Get rich before things change. Aetna is selling out to CVS possibly. The giant that wanted to buy us is ditching itself. That may be what was going to happen to us there too. 66 billion dollars. Is that enough to retire with ease? It appear board members are more self serving than caring about anyone else. With the last Democratic Government Officials self serving, apparently they learned their lessons well.
