Around 5,000 layoffs announced for HPE today. And we thought we had it rough. This is becoming ridiculous, both companies are at the stage where it looks like all they need to is to be put out of their misery. If only it was not the employees who are paying the price for the incompetence of those on top...

Remaining HPE only getting 5000 layoffs, the HPES people with DXC will see 1 in 2 or maybe even more get axed. That's not a guess, its a clear promise from Mikey.
People, don't you see a common theme here, that CSC/DXC/HPE, whatever they want to call themselves, is a parasite company led by bloody idiots. I escaped from CSC UK at the beginning of 2017. took my money and ran. Blood pressure normal now, no stress at night, etc. My manager was a lunatic and followed orders from the top to the nth degree, whether they were right or wrong. THIS COMPANY WILL FAIL, NO DOUBT! (Capitals intended). Get out while you can...there are lots of jobs out there better paid, courses/education paid for so you don't have to ie time. Absolute sh--e place to work so AVOID it!!!
Again, only the Enterprise Services segment was spun off and merged.. The rest remains still as HPE.
I thought HPE and CSC merged to create once company. There is no HPE any more, just like there is no CSC
No, they are separate companies. HPE spun off just the services portion of the company and merged it with CSC to create DXC. The rest of HPE still exists.
I am confused. Isn't HPE part of DXC ?

Here's hoping my colleagues that remained in DXC after I got a WFR (a happy statistic) soon join me i the real world. DXC, CSC and HPE are all screwed.
