There is nothing left to sell. HON went to the authorized service center model years ago....collect a small royalty fee to let companies use "Company X...a Honeywell Authorized Service Center." In exchange for that royalty payments, HON sells new parts at a 35-55% discount and then doesn't have to have the labor or buildings.

For "X" insert your favorite R)

Spoke with 2 guys today that work at/with MROC and they said plenty of rumors about being sold but no official announcement.

1ceo To whom? Is there a web link to an article about it? I would think KBRwyle would be the most likely candidate as they bought the old Honeywell unit HTSI which controls some of the RO work that the various services decide to off load from their base ROs to Honeywell.

For the small amount $$$ that MROC still does would not seem it likely any one would want it. Consider that for any B1 products the government owns all the lab testing equipment. That would need to be purchased from them and/or actual test labs recreated at some other site (it's all at Engines currently) and possibly new testing equipment procured .That's all IF the government would agree to that and then certify the repair new site. There would be similar issues at least with testing other product lines components and end items such as F-15 components, B-2, F-18, Apache APUs and Blackhawk components.
