About a third of the 375-employee XIM group was let go yesterday (Monday, 9/19/2017), including me. For me, I'm glad it happened: I was thinking of retiring and now they're giving me a decent severance package, not to mention two weeks of "coninuance" and my accumulated vacation.
I do feel sorry for the younger people who get less severance and are probably just victims of executives preventing lawsuits for targeting older employees.
And for anyone thinking of taking a job at Xerox, let me give you a little advice: don't.
