I wonder if it is normal for People to have so many meetings. Tomorrow and next week look just as bad. How can anyone get sh-- done with so much nonsense?

"Ask Me Anything" meeting invites from total stranger-managers. Ok see I....."wtf is your problem?".
Why does it take 10 people to do one job:
Every day:
8:30 - daily status meeting
9:00 - Project status meeting
10:00 - Project tech status meeting
11:00 - Scrum Meeting
11:30 - Grooming Meeting
12:00 - Consulting meetings
1:00 - Another project status meeting
2:00 - Meeting to tell the business about all of the project meetings
3:00 - Team meeting
4:00 - Design and Development meeting
5:00 - Daily Status Meeting
That is too funny. This place is run like a government agency. These meetings give the bad management purpose even if the purpose is 100 percent useless.
I have listened to many Global Technology meetings and have thought afterwards "how useless was that". They just talk in circles and have no purpose or a real point. How much money do they waste paying for all the Weber time?
If the stockholders really knew how badly this place is managed they would not be stockholders.

I get most of my web browsing done during meetings. Sometimes I even sneak in a phone call and couple of text messages.

I actually do most of my work during meetings. If it weren't for meetings, my boss would have more time to assign sh-- to me.
It is normal for an organization that is run by a bunch of control freaks!
We have daily 1-hour meetings to explain why we are behind on our work.

Agreed. Typical. Maybe we could meet to discuss your feelings. Put me on your calendar for at least 30mins 3x a week for debriefings.
