With interior design completion of EC4 nearing and eventual move of all corporate support services to EC3 and EC4 it does not make sense to leave lose ends that don't have an absolute reason not to centralize to Houston. The argument to continue to support an office in the home town of one of the founding companies doesn't hold much water in current economic environment.

Correct. Centralization must be smart. Business Continuity mandates, do not put all your eggs in one basket.
