Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Holiday layoffs

Can anyone confirm the Humana's policy regarding layoff announcements during the holiday season? I saw some discussion of it on another thread - can anyone confirm the policy?

Is it a Humana-wide policy, or is at the discretion of each department? Do they hold layoff announcements after Nov 1, or just hold actual term dates until Jan?

Been here 15 years and they do it when they want. Normally they do not do them in December

I've been with Humana for years and have never heard of this. I don't think Humana cares what day or month it is I'm sure the decisions are made with the company in my mind not employees or families welfare
