I've just stopped going. My life is more relaxed now. No one cares if you are there of not. Absolutely nothing has changed. My boss is a douche who is trying too hard to stay relevant that I never hear anything passably intelligent. This company is f'd.

The people who get awarded at the all hands meetings and coffee talks are the ones that are the a---lickers of the management. They keep getting the awards again and again but a little probing will prove that even though they are receiving awards, the work was actually done by somebody else. Fake awards at DXC.

What's the problem? You are seen to attend but it doesn't impact your job and you miss nothing of consequence
I worked for HP/HPE/DXC from 2012 until this past August (when I found a new job), and basically quit attending the all-hands calls in 2014. No point.
Anything relevant to the individual contributor will be communicated by the line managers. I personally had better things to do than listen to the MBA b---s---ters talk out of their asses. At any rate those same guys would generally only last 6-9 months before another set of MBA b---s---ters took over.

Good call. The vast majority of these meetings and teleconferences are nothing but time sinks. The first people targeted for layoffs are those who scramble to attend all these functions in order to show 'committment'. In reality all they are doing is showing their desperation. So put in your 40, skip the BS, and enjoy your life.
