Has anyone else noticed in their state that FCM jobs are being posted thru other agencies for contract work (more than usual)?

The speculation appears to be that all of telephonic will be turned over to contracted workers. From what I know, this is not the direction we are headed in.
LTIH...Long Term In Home
FCM...Field Care Manager also known as In Home Care Manager ( IHCM).
Please, what are LTIH and FCM's I do not recognize these Departments with abbreviations.
What is speculation about when a member is sent to LTIH and they are going to be followed by that FCM and will not return to telephonic management with a HCM
We were told this in two town hall meetings, they won't come back
I agree with the previous poster that speculating that all of telephonic is going to "the network" is ridiculous. All we are doing is scarring each other.

No one said layoffs aren't happening but all this wild speculation is idiotic.
Yes. That is correct.
Network is in fact doing telephonic now. Our members that graduate to telephonic are staying with us for continuity of care.
There will be layoffs in November. The sky is not falling, it is reality. There have layoffs every quarter this year.
People are stressed and trying to make sense of things. Yes, there will inevitably be incorrect speculation, but the layoffs are a reality, and no need to be condescending.
The sky is falling again!
Never say never. If you mentioned layoffs for HAH last year people said that was ridiculous. Just saying.
Telephonic not going contracted. That's just ridiculous
I've been with HAH for several years and the network has always seen right around 80% of the members. Nothing new there.
That is what I've been saying. Yes I believe Humana is going contract workers for most of HAH in the next year. 80% of FCM's are already contracted through other agencies . I believe telephonic will also be managed by the network.
Sorry, but what are FCM's?
Yes! And I get emails daily from companies needed FCM's for HAH.
