Right and everyone is on a different page. Which is it? Take the time you need to really assist your members? Or numbers, numbers, numbers?

It is not moossible to keep up. Teams are not doing things as they should cause some are still pushing numbers others are doing what’s right and are in trouble for low numbers. This was supposed to be a change in practice

I haven’t relaxed since 2016.

If 11/1 passes and nothing happens, don't relax! Everything is so disorganized I don't think they can make that date.

“FAQ stated if notice of termination is given at anytime prior to December you would not be eligible for the payout even if the job doesn’t end till January as you will not be included in 2018 salary planning. So we might not who will be affected when November 1 arrives”

Wow. I hope they don’t wait until close to Thanksgiving / holidays. That would be awful. No turkey, no bonus, just a pink slip. I’d rather know sooner, I think.

I asked my coach about layoffs. Coach was very dismissive and almost angry I asked. Everyone on my team has been asking

Jan bonus is because no one gets a raise in 2018. It's part of revised benefit package. We weren't being told in Oct, leaders were supposed to have their planning for it completed in oct. We won't know until.jan if we get it. If we are even still here

I have not heard one thing about one time bonus.

We were told that we would be receiving info on Jan lump sum amount by end of Oct. Has anyone heard anything? Layoffs have to be announced by Nov 1 if going to give 60 day notice and avoid lump sum pay.

I think we might be on the same team. Something is up today for sure. My coach has done a complete 180. Her fear and panic is palpable. She's not making any effort to conceal it.

HCM-RN here. My coach has insisted since the start of telemodularity that metrics are out the window. We were told to dig in deep with our members that we reach. Make the calls longer and take steps to have better quality calls and outcomes with the member. Three weeks in, our numbers are pretty low compared to other HCM teams. Now our coach has suddenly shifted and is wanting us to increase our call numbers and contacts. Total attitude change and reversal of what was originally told to us. Something is definitely up.

I'm a PHC too and I'm working through 2 - 3 days worth of calls in one day since moving members to monitored status. I find it suspicious that our coaches were instructed by JR to tell PHCs not to schedule calls during this first month of tele-modularity. That would have made sure we had calls booked for the rest of this year. Did JR give that instruction because he knew half of us would not be here in November? I wonder...

I’m a PHC and with recent disenrollments and graduations, I have to pull members up that aren’t remotely close to being due for MOC in order to hit ten. If enrollments don’t start up again until Jan, this is not sustainable for another couple of months. I’m not sure I buy the “HAH has been hit hard enough” message that some of the coaches have been told. It sounds nice and reassuring, but I am going to run out of members to call.

"All of telephonic is supposed to see deep cuts. The talk of hiring new HCMS in January was from months ago. Ask again and see what is being said now."

I don't know if There will be hiring in January or not, but I do know that there has been at least 1 group of HCMs hired very recently. They started the first week of September or the last week of August i believe. Not even out of 90 day probation yet

And the cm deciding what is appropriate for a social worker is skewed, because the backgrounds are different, that's why the hcmss has that needs survey to fill in for supports

I've been with Humana for 5 years as a HCM and I can count on 1 hand the number of tasks ive sent to HCMSS that were actually appropiate for social worker. Im a CCM and 98% of the things we've been told in the past to send tasks for are things we can do ourselves. Not saying HCMSS is not needed, im saying we've been instructed to utilize them for things that were not appropriate in the past.

Or the tasks sent to hcmss were not appropriate, where a cm can connect a member to CMs or benefits, and they are looking to make it easier for the member. Many tasks are admittedly "dumps" and maybe they're trying to stop those

I'm the one who posted about meeting. I can't give any details about it as it's a very small group and any info given could identify me. Just saying that it's happening.

The nurse retention committee is part of the ONLC. The people on it were chosen after the first round of lay offs to combat nurse attrition. A large number of nurse quit out of fear after the 1st round of lay offs occurred. Although it's my understanding they haven't done much since being formed and haven't even been meeting? I guess the fact that they are meeting next month is a sign of something, but I don't know what? Dealing with attrition again when nurses are actually cut this time? Or reassuring nurses they are the most valued members of the team? A friend of mine was on the committee, but ironically, she quit out of fear for her job.

Was told that HCN RN will start taking significant more job responsibilities. Told to do more for the member on each call. Examples given were items that in the past we were told to send to HCMSS. Told we need to learn how to utilize these resources as it would be moving to us as an HCM Rn responsibility in 2018. Not sure what that means for the HCMSS future

As mentioned below in my post, 1 jkg, last sentence. Minutes after I posted this, I hear of a PIP getting slapped on a great coworker. Another coworker getting told about her performance, probably won't be long for her to get her's as well. Get out of you can and if you get one of those, for sure! No one I know on a PIP is there anymore, they were in let go. Nit picking my performance as well and I know why. (Thought I could hold out, but the stress is not worth it. Ramping up my job search)

I’m can’t ask, poster (two posts down). My coach will only say that HAH has been hit hard enough already. Then we are quickly redirected to some metric or other we need to improve.

(Not blaming the coach, they are in a tough position I know and might be in some denial, just saying I can’t ask questions and get anything useful ).

LTIH will keep mbrs that no longer want in home visits and do telephonic. Humana is branching out with Aspire HH (program- not Hospice they say) for the mbrs that have maybe a few yrs left based on analytics for a new program in November. Not sure the locations/regions for that. Those will not come back to telephonic if they do not want program anymore. So, this leads me to believe CMs are getting the squeeze and def some FCMs. Substantial re-organization we all know. I swear leadership must get a bonus for every person they get to quit ahead of the lay offs.
