Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

just get it over with already

Tired of waiting a-holes. Send the email already. Let's not drag this s**t show out any longer. Just get it over with so we can get on with our lives away from Humana.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be funny for those getting the confidential emails to forward them to all the execs they can find?

Well, I got a "confidential" meeting request this afternoon. Guess that means I'm out. We'll see in the morning. I hate all the fake crap this co puts out! Just be real with people already!!

No apologies need, poster. Many of us are the the same boat. And wine sounds good right about now... :)

I wish I was Rip Van Winkle so I could go into a deep sleep for the next 5 - 6 days and then wake up and learn the truth without having the anxiety of more waiting. Sorry... perhaps a little too much wine this evening. Good luck everyone.

Right! Please, no more, “I’m so excited about the direction we are heading” crap. This angers me more than anything else. Excited? Really? We are watching colleagues lose their jobs every quarter, wondering when we will be next - how exciting!

Come on, let’s take a break from the Kool-Aid for 5 minuets and recognize what we have been through and continue to go through.

I feel like I have PTSD at this point. When will this end? Do they not see how stressful the year has been especially for the PHCs and CHEs who have suffered the most damage. If they had a meeting and truly addressed how hard this has been for us instead of the fake, "the program is going to be so much better" it would go a long way. We don't care anymore because we are too busy worrying if we will be able to pay the mortgage or feed our families. With so many layoffs this year, the job market is saturated here in Ohio.

Me too, below poster, or some email telling us that the “work that is no longer valued” will be cut, some sort of warning that the day is coming, but no, I’m just getting “take ten for yourself” and IT alerts.

An exhausting year, indeed!

Everytime I receive a new email, I get slightly distracted...thinking is this it?!

And I'm beyond ready for the powers that be to please let us know something.

It's been a rough year for all of us, extremely emotionally exhausting for me.
