VETERANS - Stay Away from Honeywell. Unethical Company

Anonymous | Post ID: @PIZVIRs-5ylu

There is a difference between working hard to get the mission done. I am a veteran and an engineer and this is my tempo of operations. I have an issue when my project is light and I am forced to charge 44 hours minimum and idle on a charge number. This is unethical and it could be illegal. What gets me the most is when I need to charge general allowable to maintain our old test equipment and I am told to do it in 15 minute increments to roll the charges to a government contracts. Honeywell has defenately tested my integrity in many ways. I don't think I will be working much longer with Honeywell.

I’m a veteran and I still serve in the air national guard. Been at honeywell for 21 years and I am currently deployed with the Air Force and they are paying my salary while I’m deployed. They treat military pretty damn good.

As a veteran myself, I agree. Ex military have so many good options; do not even waste time with HON unless you're desperate or you need something temporary. I say temporary because working at HON, that's exactly what you are. You'll be pushed and pushed to work harder and harder, more hours, more b---s--- metrics to meet then one day you'll find yourself being RIFd. The motto of HON management is "use em and lose em". Once you're too expensive or old, HON will drop you like a hot rock.
