So after all the money invested by HPE into Manila based teams, we are pulling out by April 2018 and going to Malaysia and Singapore and possibly the other roles back to India.

I hope this is true. Those filips are worse than those smelly indians
FAKE NEWS Posted. Although Manila is likely to be infested with Abu Sayaff and other black flag holders ousted from Suyria and Iraq. Insilon Hapilon and company are planning the buyout of DXC Manila offices to establish their headquarters.
They may as well move the jobs to Pontiac!
DXC has seven pages of job openings in the Philippines and a ton of vacancies. Truth is, cost-wise, Philippines has a big advantage. What I can say though is that some will move out of the Philippines but definitely not the majority of business. It's possible that DXC will shift completely to a competency center thing and if your technology is not in the center's competency, then you are out.
Highly unlikely. DXC will probably move some job functions/technology to other countries but definitely will not move the majority. Manila is more cost effective than Malaysia and Singapore or India.
Can't be. I know of 200 headcounts to be hired soon in Manila for an offshore project. It's too big to be closed in a short period of time and it is still a low cost high value center.
legaacy HPE invested in costarica and manila - both centers are NOT that great, so i guess this is a good decision.
