I have been so stressed in the past weeks that I am about ready to break by now. This is taking a serious toll on my health. This whole waiting and not knowing and all these supposed meetings at different Humana locations and emails and whatnot... I am about ready to know, one way or another.

How do you move all these members down, and say nurses won't be impacted? Doesn't add up.
They can't tell staff anything until HR gives the final approval. There is a whole process behind this and it's a complicated thing to restructure an organization. They have to pull a lot of finance data to project future costs and saving. They have to go thru many levels of approval and review HR must review every single thing and then prepare the individual notifications. And believe it or not, the process of laying someone off is dreaded by management and HR tries to help manager get prepared themselves. You can't control what happens and if you do get laid off, the smart people will not spend a lot of time melting down. They will be networking and looking for other options....and will be way ahead of the game and everyone else impacted.
So we know management monitors this site therefore this message is for you:
Why can't we have a meeting? Why can you gather us all to say "no, those rumors are incorrect, no layoffs for now" why is it so hard to come clean? This is affecting us all, the stress, the anxiety, the fear, the unknown... this fear does not make us as efficient as we could be. Please let us know once and for all! And if there are indeed going to be layoffs, then can you just tell us today so that we know what we are against?
