They hire the people they can pay the least to, not the most qualified. College kids, h1b visas or 3rd party contract employees are the norm now here. It's almost rare to find someone who has been in the company longer than 25 years because of most of them have either left or been laid off due to their age. What you're left with are younger, inexperienced workers and temporary employees. Did I mention the benefits get worse each year? We don't even have dental insurance. Dental insurance. Honeywell can't afford to offer dental insurance. You gotta be kidding me.
Agreed, @OnKkWlN-izh. The company can't expect to move ahead while crippling its workforce, all for the sake of saving a few bucks. When will they realize that inexperienced workers that are cheaper right now actually cost Honeywell more in the long run?
