I worked on Xerox copiers as a contractor and as a Xerox employee until March of this year, when they laid me off. I think their biggest problem is that most of their new model copiers are pieces of crap. The 5945i to me was a tremendous backwards step from the 5845i. I worked on several brand new 5945s that jammed constantly. They changed the paper path method that was used on the 5800s, 5700s, 5600s, 5500s, and 5100s were the paper went though the developer housing, through the fuser, and then to the inverter assembly and out into the paper tray into a vertical path from the input tray that went up through the left side of the machine. The left side door has plastic pieces that catch it and are supposed to hold it closed. If it isn't closed very well, you will have a paper jam. Also they changed the output tray angle so you have to have a finisher on the 5945i to catch the paper !
Whoever released the 5900 series into production should be fired.
