Severance package at Honeywell?

I am trying to get my ducks in a row as I am pretty sure that I will be on the chopping block come next layoff round. I am not sure if and what kind of severance package is offered by the company, though, and would really appreciate if anybody can give me some idea. Thanks in advance!

Some legacy Aerospace employees do have an accrued vacation benefit when the vacation policy was changed more than 15 years ago. Otherwise there is none except for California and perhaps union or foreign sites under a contract. Standard USA severance policy is one week pay for every year worked.

I appled for the RIF and was offered 3 weeks for every year of service. In addition the benefits would be extended until the RIF period was over. UI would kick in after that period. I applied twice for the RIF but was never accepted.

They would much rather sever our heads from our bodies, than give us a severance package, but unfortunately for them, and fortunately for us, there are laws against that

No more accrued vacation in the USA, except maybe in California. Don't wait to apply for unemployment until severance runs out. There are waiting periods and no penalty for applying early, just early knowledge of how system works in your state.

There is a procedure you can look up for this. 1 week for each year worked, max of 26 weeks. Medical and years of service continues to end of severance. There was a check for accrued vacation, not sure about that now.
