I've been hearing rumors of another big layoff round coming up soon, maybe August. Anybody knows anything? Who will be targeted this time?

Yes but then management sent out a survey to all their current HCM RNs in the Humana at home program to ask them about their behavioral health experience . Just seamed strange
From what I have been told, the HBH folks just let go were part of a failed pilot program. They could have been let go at any time regardless of the current unstableness.
That's the thing - you are right, last poster. By wording the one-time reassurance to say there would be no more 2017 "planned layoffs," that certainly leaves room for meetings tomorrow, next week, any day, to determine and subsequently announce that more layoffs would benefit the company. So many are on edge this year regardless, and with good reason.
What about the behavior health HCM RNs that were laid off two weeks ago. I guess those were unplanned layoffs so they don't count.
I agree with the last poster. There will be a huge layoff in January 18.
The February layoffs were not predicted in here as they are what started all these threads. The April layoffs we were told about the night before and could easily figure it out when upper management would not answer the question of future layoffs. We have been told by many in upper management that no more layoffs are planned for 2017. Not that we should believe them, but they would not assure us after the first round. January will be huge!

I don't think OP's intention was to fire up a debate about this site, just to learn what everyone knows or has heard. Unfortunately, communication at Humana has been awful and some teams are getting different pieces of info than other teams. Some coaches are recommending PHC's update resumes (mine did), others may not be as forthcoming, or maybe some coaches are more / less informed. I'm unsure why different teams get different info at this point.

No, this site was correct ONCE with layoffs because someone in the actual loop posted that lay offs were beginning that night and the next day. It was not sheer speculation and conjecture which almost all of this has been. Please tell me the other predictions that have come true. I have been following since the first post and so far the only thing to come true was the last round of layoffs by someone who was probably in a management position.
Some PHC coaches have been saying have your resumes ready. Hope this is just smoke with no fire behind it. In the past the site has been correct
For one, where are you all getting your information from? Sometimes I think some get off on scaring others.
