I keep hearing all the rumors about Honeywell trying to sell off Aerospace in pieces, and seeing evidence that pieces are actually being sold off. Does anyone plan on asking about this at the town hall with our new CEO this month? Does anyone want to volunteer (like maybe someone that's ready to retire and doesn't have as much to lose as someone like me posting this passive/aggressive post)?

Ask the poor lady that dared ask Cote why the work from home policy changed, and he asked her if she was stupid or put up to asking since she was new. I think it was a townhall from October.
I personally be more interested in staying on if I knew it was going to be sold. ANY new company running things would be very welcome, at this point!

I think you are looking at it wrong. If HON announced an interest in selling Aero, employees might hang around to see if the buyer was actually interested in the Aero business and had a clue as to how Aero operates.
They cant disclose. If sold new company gets the people too. But leaders separate themselves from employees more these days to avoid these conversations. I remember in 2008 when the announcement was made that Phx Engines was moving manufacturing to Mx, DC himself made the comment that there would be no layoffs. They will just say anything, no concern for workers.
There is no point in asking at that meeting because it would be illegal. Answers, comments, etc. that can affect the stock price, and any answer with substance to it falls in that category, must be done as a public announcement. If the question is asked at a town hall, all the man can do is dance around it.
No point in asking; they will just lie anyway. Think about it...if they told us aero was being sold everyone would head for the exits. They can't have all of us saving ourselves; they have a business to ruin and sell, take their huge bonuses and leave. Asking Dairyass anything which would require an honest answer is a big waste of time, especially in a clown hall setting. Those meetings are just a giant circle jerk, and an appeasement for the serfs (us).
