The reorg was rumored to finish months ago and here we are late August with L6 still unannounced.

The one who run all the work is L6 and L7 manager. Cutting L5, L4, might be a good option.
The L4s and L5s attend meetings every day and generate a lot of noise that achieves nothing. They need to be demoted to real jobs or get the chop entirely.
DXC is a large organisation and does need SOME layers of management, but 8 layers is probably two or three too many. I do wonder what the L4 and L5s actually DO all day; they certainly aren't earning money for the company.
Amazing ... 5+ levels of management was always doomed to fail. I was WFR'd several months ago and my employer has 4 layers of management. Much less BS and more accountability (and no Spartans training either).
There are L7 and L8 management kicking about in my org. Not announced funnily enough! A collection of Mgr 2's reporting to Mgr 2's!
Agreed. L6 is just being sheep herder. Good luck selling those "skills".
"Too many cooks spoil the broth"
No one cares about L6. They are just trying to make half of L6 redundant.
