Another non-starter effort... AGAIN...why does everything have to be done by committee in this company? What are we paying RL and the ELT for? To tally votes?

I agree with OP. The leadership of the company should provide the foresight to see where we should be going, not leave it to the dozens of groups to somehow agree what we should do. This seems backward-round.
