Well it's been two years since us FCMS were cut in cut because we did not have masters. No grandfathering... no ability to work and earn credentials.

I'm sorry. As a PHC have worked with several ex FCM's and they were/are great teammates. Not hardly fair that now your replacement job is in jeopardy.
That stinks. In my previous job the decided to only have BSNs rather than RNs. Yet they gave those with RNs 2 years to get their BSN.
