Seen some nasty pics of the Anniston buildings completely trashed from a storm and told it is shutdown. Also hearing the work is going to other plants like Tempe and that Anniston may be condemmed. Any Anniston employees on here?

Praying for all those @ Anniston! We are all pulling for you
Anniston site is being rebuilt. There was damage but not so much that it can't be fixed. The LT and employees are coming together and helping with the progress. We are a close knit site who loves each other and are supporting each other through this tough time. I am so proud of each and every one of them.
The building is a lease, most work will go to Tempe because of tooling and test. Pray for the displaced workers. Set up food drives for them and help them with school supplies while they are out of work.
Important thing about Anniston is we are all safe! Secondly We are sure we will be back up and going ASAP! Damage was bad but repairable!
Roof had work done last fall. Also, this is at the Aerospace site, not the one on the depot where the tiger program is
There is equipment (the stamping press for the AGT recuperator plates) that is absolutely essential for the TIGER program, among others. Anniston as a whole isn't shutting down anytime soon, though portions of it may do.
I agree it's unlikely anyone knew there was a problem with the roof and let's not go there. There are a lot of folks temporarily out of a job hoping the building can be repaired and they can go back to work.
Unlikely
I bet the roof was in need of replacement for years and they never could get the capital approved

Here's another link and the most important fact is no injuries.
