There's so much tension in our department it's not worth engaging anyone. People are snapping at each other all the time. Seagate will soon start moving people to other shifts to get work done wether they like it or not. Employees are not people.
So much this, @ODaheBR-vxw. It seems that every day more people are fighting, all over completely nonsensical things. It's come to a point where I dread going to work. This cannot be sustained much longer...
Usually my tension has nothing to do with work and everything to do with my wife.
It's like a hostage situation.
Hopefully i get RIFed before the bankruptcy, then i will sit back and enjoy watching Seagate implode.
If your pissed now, wait a few years if your still here. You will find out they loaded up on debt to the hilt to pay themselves and shareholders. Suddenly, there will be a concern about not being able to pay it off as revenue continues to cliff dive,...then bankruptcy. The death spiral has only begun
The company always has underhand tactics in anything they do that has employees in mind.No payrise no bonus for the workers but that fat a-- management is well looked after..stick it out and use all the underhand tactics you can.play the game and dont rock the boat and hope you get good payoff
Maybe that's all part of the company tactics. The remaining staff miserable that people leave on their own. Saves the RIF payment.
