Maybe the engineering manager at R&O will get a clue from the hairs on his arm standing up.

Management in Greer will never get it. The Greer site functions like a union plant, there are no good leaders left in management. All the good ones are gone because the people that mess up are not held accountable. The 9 block is a joke, people that are placed on a performance improvement plan still mess up and are not fired. I will be willing wager any amount of money that the new coaters and building expansion will not happen. So glad I am rid of that horrible job. Where there is no accountability, there will be total chaos and that is what you have at Greer.

R & O is hemorrhaging engineering like there's no tomorrow, but the engineering manager can't figure out why. All he has to do is look in a mirror to see why.

Greer R & O is hurting pretty bad. Incompetent managers that have no clue on how this business works are driving it into the ground. The morale at R&O is the lowest it has been since the place opened up. They are shipping techs off to other sites across the US in order to bolster the "Utilization" numbers and spending big bucks to do it.

The Old Timers are just sticking around waiting for the exit packages, but even some of them are fed up and looking for a way out. We even had one recently retire because the Quality Product Leader is a MORONIC DOUCHEBAG.

Aero is going to be sold off. The board, share owners, division CEO, and company CEO, have sought opportunities to both spin off, or merge in the past. With a majority share owner pushing, it's going to happen!
