Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

CEO Killed a Once Prosperous Company. No Raises. Cutting Americans. Getting rid of quality loyal employees

Company would do ANYTHING to keep stock price artificially high. Shell of a company with over inflated stock prices with nothing in its interior shell. Merge with HPE merged 2 bad companies into one huge bad company. They now have more employees to let go. Mike Lawrie gutted American offices to open India offices because they work at 1/3 of the price. India technical staff has no clue as to what they are supporting, or who to contact to fix it. No raises for any non-management American workers in past 6 years. Would come up with an excuse every year as to why no raises "across the board." Secret management raises that they were told not to reveal to anyone. All India staff got raises every year. Company is still gutting quality, experienced workers in favor of cheap, low cost, low performance India workers. Loyalty to this company meant nothing. Poor culture. Nobody knows who to contact when a problem arises. Do not give employees the tools they need to do their jobs. They work their employees to the ground with no compensation. Invested no money into infrastructure. Old systems limping along because maintenance contracts were never renewed. Would not recommend CSC or DXE to anyone.

Yes and the big push to enter goals for FY18, what a joke. You meet or exceed your goals every year and see nothing more in the paycheck, you see more work , with less people who actually have a clue how to do a good job.

You ask why stay? Why not , I still get paid and have a decent commute to and from work. I saved a few dollars so I have 3 - 4 months before I have to get another job.

When I am fired, then I'll start looking for something. Most large US companies are the same, and smaller shops are out-sourcing. So it's a lose-lose

After 5+ years I'm wondering why they even bother with the farce of performance reports? You're not getting a raise and they don't even look at the your ratings when deciding who to lay off.
