Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

Revenge

Just as IBM did with LEAN and McKinsey previously, HP/HPE/EDS/CSC/DXC/McKinsey is creating thousands and thousands of enemies. Not all of us end up being a door greeter at Walmart; many move on to other IT and technology jobs often with managerial and purchase decision authority.

There is ZERO chance that I for one will ever buy anything whether product or service from HP/HPE/EDS/CSC/DXC/McKinsey ever again. I am not alone. The death spiral will only accelerate.

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to influence a RFP decision when the CIO of the company where I am working as a contractor asked me to help review the responses received. A colleague who had worked for Capgemini was also asked to get involved

Knowing I had had worked for HPE up until the mass cull of PMs and Tech Leads last year he asked me to talk him through what I knew of HPE's Sell, Build, Run delivery model, it's intent, issues, resourcing and limitations. Tbe ex Cap man did the same.

Cap made the cut. HPE didn't. I have not lost any sleep about it. I didn't need to embellish anything, the bid let itself down.

I set up my own business when McKinsey stitched me up.

My team know that any request a to buy HP branded kit and software will be laughed out of the room. We are a Dell house here. I'm happier and the hardware us better and more reliable.

I was cut 3 months ago from CSC (before the merger). AON Hewitt is their customer and 401(K) manager. Once the dust settled I spoke to AON and told them because they are part of the problem, that I want a 4% refund or I'm moving my 401(K). Long story short, they Just lost a $300k portfolio. I hope others follow and bankrupt AON Hewitt.

I'm also boycotting any of their biggest customers who are also profiting from DXC. Stay away from Zurich, AON, UTC, Raytheon. General Dynamics, Textron and the list goes one.
