This low life company is using best shore as a tool to put out to pasture those folks targeted and to reduce overall payroll. You will see they will eventually revert back to US based employees after they weed out those they want to and the high flyers with wages high. This is the most UNETHICAL thing a company can do. Scumbag management. You will get stung one day in the afterlife. Remember that.

Not sure this is accurate. I know second hand (Herndon) HPE was hiring people as fast as they were laying off... And hiring at even better salaries in many cases. So it's not about weeding out high paid employees, it's more about hiring different employees. Younger ones perhaps. While maybe also removing veterans too. Guess on my part.
Sorry - that's stupid. There are many many countries with regulations regarding severance in case you are released. In most cases you will get nothing if you quit your job on your own. Severance in countries with such regulations is not money for nothing its not a present. Its money you did not get during your years of hard work for the company. Its money that the corporation has to save by law just in case there will a situation come to end the contract because of circumstances that are not caused by the employee. When you have worked many years this severance gets a significant amount. It can be the difference between a normal life when you retire or a hard life as working poor in higher ages.

I recently took VR and am as happy as anything. Absolute sh--e Co. to work for...get out while you can VR will be available because the A-- Head management staff don't know what the hell they are doing!
