Latest - Aero leadership is planing to make anouncement on next quarterly results meeting. Thus far every indications is that Aero will become it's own company. The goal is to stimulate the stock - friend of a friend told me. I honestly think this is a great thing.

ALT can't do Arro - too hard.
legal stock price manipulation
I would also bet that someone(s) has a bunch of options that just matured
ALT will screw it up collect a big bonus and then retire
@1bax, it won't. If the ALT is involved, they will manage to ruin it. There will be 10 VPs for every worker, and 5 directors under each VP. The company cannot survive on this top heavy management model. We need to stop letting all the talent bleed out of the company while adding more and more butt kissing do nothing layers of metrics pushers.
Hmm...making Aero it's company....still will s--- with all the butt kissing site leaders, multi- directors, VPs and the ALT. If they can't figure out how to turn a profit without killing their labor, what makes you think they can without mother Honeywell?
Wait, wait, wait! - wasn't someone here a few days ago posted that Honeywell was dropping defense & space and then news came out that Honeywell is "considering" it? - Soon after, someone tried to discredit the O.P. And it turned out to be true? Something stinks here - I am leaning with the O.P. Why would anyone try to discredit the O.P.? - it stinks like Honeywell fraud, yield, and EEI.
The only hope of saving AERO is replace the entire ALT with smart people who aren't dipshits. If we keep the current regime, there is no chance of survival no matter how many metrics you measure, survey scores you review or SFDC cases you create.
To the O.P.: A friend of a friend told you? And you're going with that?
The guy that trims my front yard tree told me the same thing. It must be true.
