All the people who make the place run and actually do the work are blamed for the school's failures. The higher ups need to look at what they have done to the school's reputation by expanding rapidly and having absolutely no standards about quality. This has been a problem since well before the DOE was involved.
I remember the first time the CEO took a million dollar bonus, while no one got raises because we had to "tighten our belts." I've had multiple years of not getting raises after getting stellar performance reviews. We also had our 401k matching stop, despite it being one of the few perks that we still got from EDMC.
