I have worked for Allstate a little over a year in the call center.
Although I don't know of anyone that got laid off we too have felt the impact. The moral in the company has goon significantly down. this month alone over 22 employees have left to better companies and better pay.
From the customer view I get calls everyday from customers complaining about the low estimate received through QFC. Customers now see Allstate as a lazy company that are making customers do the work for them.
