VRIF versus IRIF package

Is there a difference in severance packages between VRIF and IRIF?

If yes, what is it?

VRIF is a voluntary reduction in force. Meaning if you meet the qualifications you can take the "package".

IRIF is an involuntary reduction in force. Meaning they pick people to lay off. Anyone can be hit with this. With an IRIF you can also collect unemployment.

Those are the situations for Xerox. Not sure about Conduent. They have their own layoff page now and all posts for them should be posted there.

They used to be identical on the Xerox document services side as of 2 years ago.
