Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Buildings for Lease

I flew into Phoenix Sky Harbor last week and saw a large manufacturing bldg. and the original red brick bldg. that was one if the original engr. bldg. with huff "For Lease" signs on the side of the bldg.

Have these bldgs. been for Lease long? I know the two story has been on Airlane but not the manufacturing bldg.

Just another reduction in floor space. I heard Singapore was being closed too.

Yep. Announced that in the hangar in 2008. I was there. They told all the machinists that they were going to train their replacements and if they agreed, thwy wpuld do their best to find them another role in the company. If they refused, they would not be relocated within the company or they'd be let go. Joke was on them though, the ALT knew there were no other roles to be had but they led all those guys on anyway.

Or better yet, go take a drive to Deer Valley and check out the weeds in the parking lots!

So, you're saying you haven't been to Phoenix in the past 8 years? Take a drive to Tempe while you're here.
