Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Good hands? Hardly!!!

For a company that prides themselves on offering exceptional service to our customers, we sure got the wrong end of the stick.

Good hands? Hardly, they just stretched those hands out far and dropped us like a dead cat.

A customer asked me today if her premiums would go down since Allstate is cutting all their overhead costs. I wanted to tell her "don't count on it"

I worked at Allstate for 13 years and was treated like an outsider. I busted my butt and took me 11 years to get out of the call center and then get let go, due one task being done incorrectly. Hopefully layoffs work from the top. Management is nothing but crap

Well Allstate Adjusters it's y'all turn. The agency force went through the same thing in the early 2000"s.

It is hard to appreciate a company that for the past three years has touted a "People First" culture and then treats those they employ like a homeless person trying to enter a five star restaurant. The people at Allstate work extremely hard day in and day out for their customers trying to ensure the best customer satisfaction in the country. To be laid off in the fashion they were was unacceptable from a top tier company, even higher level management are indicating this. We are humbled everyday by the accidents that we handle and the work that we do. We also care for those who work around us and are impacted by this layoff. Be respectful of their feelings during this time as well.

You should be more appreciative about the company that gives you a paycheck every month - you have the right to express your opinion but a bit of humility would not hurt here.
