Guys, wake up. Overtime is paid in legacy HPE and gets continued to be paid in DXC as well for the same people.

It is paid for service delivery managers (who manage an incident) - people ripping off easy 40K a year on OT

It is also paid for Project managers when they do project work on weekend - heard people saying 20k annual collection

In my current function (pre-sales) we also never get overtime paid, although we are expected to work during weekends, early mornings and late at night when on a deal, especially close to submission.

However, when I was working in delivery, overtime got paid. this means, when you need to work extra on request of a customer, or during the weekend during an intervention, when you needed to be on call.. all this is paid, as it was also charged extra to the customer.

booking overtime was only allowed when requested and accepted by management.

Not sure if you are talking about overtime when working extra during delivery when working on changes or being on call? That time should be paid if you ask me, as it is also charged as overtime to the customer?

At CSC we NEVER ever got Overtime. In my lifetime (20+ years) in IT , I never got overtime pay.

One doesn't go into IT if you expect to get any overtime pay, you might get some extra time off but not official comp-time.

OT ??? ROFLMAO ... seldom occurred in EDS/HP/HPE unless one did shift work. Otherwise OT is assumed (for the company good). Maximum of 20 hours per month? More like a bottomless pit.
