Latest round has employees leaving on June 28th. Most got a couple 3-4 weeks of notice. Pretty standard package with no frills. Just weeks per years of service. Criteria was random and across the board, U.S., Costa Rica, Singapore... Many were being paid for by client contracts, so there is no rhyme or reason accept that executives are sitting in the U.S. somewhere making random decision about their "strategy" with no heed to clients being serviced.

@paqman if 500 were let go in the US, how many US employees are left?

Come to terms with reality. Compared to the high cost of support in the USA, it is better to move all support roles to India/Bangalore. The upper management roles can be kept here in the USA. C'mon we Americans are better made to do something better than just being a support staff.

Support and service roles are better off when outsourced.

There were 500 employees WFR'd today (Monday Jun 12, 2017) in the USA. The WFR schedule is weekly and runs through September, They number of employees changes. Notified on Monday, out on Friday. Accrued vacation is not paid out. 8 weeks payout if the max and it is subject to Federal tax rates.

A co-worker of mine was going on FMLA due to a family illness. DXC asked him to stay. So he asked for a raise, to a value in his current job band. VP's approved it but HR denied it. So he quit. We are screwed there are two remaining technical people on staff and we are tired of working 60+ hours/wk. We see lots of jobs being moved to best shore areas.

Meg and Mike are perfect for each other, they both love to screw their employees. Can't wait for them to screw each other...

@4ss thank you. The immediate team I work on as an IC on hasn't been impacted but expect we will very soon.

They don't seem to happen on consistent dates within the company. Some groups are twice monthly others aren't. Finance off shore is kicking in to high gear again. They have "higher level" resources now in India to take on the more complex contracts.

Layoffs at Hpe and dxc are continuing each month. Everyone I interact with are indicating folks from their teams being WFRd. My boss says there are opportunities in India, China, Mexico- but not US.

Which planet are you from?? It's cool down period but to reach the WFR goal of reducing head counts from 175,000 to around 55,000 by 2020, there will be more WFR...
