Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

It is all about Mike Lawrie's shares. He stands to get $15m as soon as the merger is announced. No wonder he's ringing the bloody bell at the NYSE!

Him and his incompetent ''Management Team'' - and I use that term very loosely, will all get millions from this. They don't give a flying toss.

I'll be glad to go!

Mike is not getting $15m from the merger. Per SEC filings, it's closer to $46m - on top of the tens of millions he's already gotten from CSC.

It must be something in the name..... Craig Wilson was an absolute knob as well!

He did a blanket ban on travel but forgot that many of the engineers are home based so couldn't travel to site to support CSC's clients!

I actually quite like Nick. Despite his chocolate throwing, at least he is honest and open even when he has a tough message, unlike most of the managers at his level who seem to continually be playing bullsh*t bingo.

The same Mr Wilson that famously rocked up at Telford during his previous HP incarnation under Mark Hurd and, in addition to patronisingly tossing chocolates at people that asked a question, announced that he thought the targets for redundancies that had just been announced were not harsh enough and he'd have cut more jobs.

Good luck everyone. Thankfully, I'm out and have been for a good while.

The promised "celebrations" at my nearest site amount to tea and cakes, the corporate tat and apparently a video of Nick Wilson welcoming us to DXC Technology - not even a visit from one of Mr Wilson's underlings.

I will NOT be attending.

I know people that have been told they have to be on site 200 miles away from where they are bsed to "celebrate" the birth of DXC and pick up some corporate tat with the logo on it.

Minutes later they got an email about following a travel process that looks as convoluted as the Gordion knot and the information that their credit card is to be cancelled.

Shambles.
