Avaya services 28 people from US and 12 people from India has been fired this week.

Is it started? Did not heard any news about notifications in Pune for names in latest list.
layoff is expected in coming 2 weeks to take care of Q2 losses.
Yeah that's true SP is frustrated but we must not forget sv's GS/RS as well, they r most deserving candidates & first in line to get fired.

ppl frm old list were notified last week, ex Aura SV managers GS, RS and others. Their last date is very secret, but they are fired for sure. wonder who might be on new list.
New FMP list will be out next week.

Hey dude, any FMP person will get min 2 wks pencil down period and in few cases it may be upto 4 - 8 wks. I suppose, he should have fired few years ago, but better late than never.
No you are wrong. He is still very much here.Btw he will not leave by himself ,no one will hire him even for free. If you are right then he was fired and not resigned

per talks around the cafeteria- it all depends on rev nos which are already known based on that they need to determine the fmp nos to ensure margins and other metrics linked with exec bonuses. Its best to be on the lookout
Emails for FMPs will be sent within this week. By Friday you may or may not get this email and or communication from your manager. Avaya future is in the dark.....life is hell...Don't know wht will happen...

Cant trust this one but hearing total cuts around 2500 ppl this would include ppl going via any buyout - networking - ipo . Possible elimination of entire job functions/ reporting / ops
