Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

I was the highest paid on my organization and I was fired from Honeywell due to a supposed under performance...

Has this happened to anybody? My performance and metrics were at or above parameters... My manager never discussed my year performance... Never gave me the opportunity to challenge this... But is the best thing that happened to me... I got a good severance, plus paid health for several months... And I am receiving multiple offers from other employers... So, I will have money in my bank while getting a paycheck... Thank you, Honeywell!!!! Don't call, I will call you....😀😀

You get what you pay for. Let them hire all low cost employees and see how good their products are lol.

It would be logical to keep employees who do the same work but are paid less, like you're experiencing. I'm just surprised to see a US company doing something logical when it comes to staffing.
