Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Analyst Layoffs

In the last go round 41 to 50 system analysts were let go across the country. That was three weeks ago. Layoffs are frequent and sudden. I believe the DL reference was simply to point out people are going away in small pockets all the time. The only way its known is when they say goodbye on a DL.

Nothing is announced by Xerox anymore after a reduction, people just go away and its like they never were there in the first place.

Corporate greed and bunch of kiss asses. Deserve one another while the entire company sinks into an abyss.

ACS, part of Xerox and now Conduent is run by uncaring people. I knew this from prior contact with them and took a position with them anyway. I knew my boss and my boss's boss. They were both good people, but ultimately had to take orders from "on high". I was contact just before a three-day weekend and informed that my position was ending in two weeks. I would caution anyone to seek other opportunities before accepting a position with Conduent.

This place seems so unorganized. I know of a person that is doing work remotely for Xerox but is mainly working on his "real job" with another company.

Not a shocker especially when the stock price of Xerox is becoming valueless.

In my opinion, the layoffs of the Systems Analyst in Feb. was the first cut. There will be more in 2017

I left on my own after 27 years with Xerox. The pay is good but that's about the only thing one can say anymore about life at Xerox. I'd rather take my chances doing something else than live layoff to layoff waiting for the ax to fall. life is better on the outside!

If you're under 60 get out of Xerox while you can before you get screwed over. Quickly find another a job if you can. Most likely you won't be getting a nice severance package nowadays. This is just reality.

Have there been any service tech layoffs in the 1st quarter or only VRIFs?

Does anyone currently (or formerly) working there (or at ACS, Conduent) know of and believe in the company mission? Doubtful, and this is why XRX, CNDT will both end up in the trashbin of memories. If you are there - take what you can in terms of comp (complain regularly and you'll get something) and keep your options open.

I will be leaving Xerox. Pay s---s, no incentives, no raises. Aggressively looking for different job. Plant manager is a joke.

I don't owe Xerox anything if they can't show me any respect or loyalty. Screw this. I'm leaving Xerox.

Why is everyone so afraid to leave Xerox? Just leave and let the company crumble. If Xerox can't show you any loyalty why should you?

Just received my papers after 22 years of service. This company is ruthless. You are just a number.

I was with Xerox for 10 months and got laid off. For me, Xerox was the worse and most horrible place to work for. I soon was blessed with another wonderful job at a wonderful company, now making 2.5 times the salary I used to make at Xerox! My salary now is well over 100K per year, and I am an hourly employee. It's good to be laid off after all.

But... I have unwisely wasted 10 months at Xerox enduring pathetic issues there. I should have quit the place after just a few months trying. Anyway, it's now a fading memory.
