It is really interesting to hear from resources in India. Our impression in the US working with our peers in India is that they are almost always kind and lovely people who do the minimal needed, but the company doesn't care. The company only cares that they pay you a lot less then they pay us. The quality of the work doesn't matter. We also only hire contractors from India or Pakistan who are the same. Lovely people who take a great many breaks and whenever there is any non work activity are the first in line. There are of course exceptions and I don't want to paint all off shore low cost resources in a box, but I do have had a lot of experience at this point. If they are eliminating resources in India times really are desperate.
Good news if they are laying off the poor performers. Our experience of Indian staff is that there is one competent, high quality employee for every ten clueless and incompetent waste of time engineer

Which Division? And what is next for India? Still Legacy HPE people are enjoying .. all fun no work.. managers are running their parallel business and playing dirty politics... if DXC can't survive like this.. it's time to come out of India.. only fun...no quality work or no work at all
True and confirmed. And, it'll get worse.
The whole industry is in turmoil, at least here in India.
