After 35+ years it was finally time to abandon the sinking ship. Best move I ever made. All I can say to my past co-workers is do what you can to find something else, your mental health and happiness is worth far more than the wages. Without significant changes, this company will soon finish swirling and end up in the septic tank.
Upper management has no idea how to run this business. The bonus structure for management employees causes many of these poor decisions. Need to abandon the bonus payments and focus on doing the right thing for the customer. Do this and you will be rewarded.
